Need a little extra time after school? Get the good kind of screen
time with Kids Can Code! Learn drag and drop coding with a variety of
apps! Kid coders will learn the basics of computer coding through a
block-based coding language called Blockly, a visual coding language
rooted in Javascript code. Beginning coders will work towards
proficiency in the Blockly language as they learn the fundamentals of
coding: sequences, algorithms, loops, events, conditionals, functions,
and variables. Here are some examples of apps & programs we use in our
curriculum: -Code Combat -code.org -codeSpark Academy -Minecraft Edu
-Scratch -Swift Playgrounds -Kodable -Bloxels -Various robots- Dash,
Root, Ozobot Student interest and proficiency will guide our focus and
