FIU AMWA Women in Medicine Mixer

Join US for an evening with hors d'oeuvre and wine, coming together as WOMEN IN MEDICINE HWCOM Medical Students and professionals in the medical field mixing in the spirit of mentorship. Sponsored graciously by the HERA Foundation and hosted by Dr. Gillis. Parking: street parking is available, but limited. We suggest carpooling and using ride sharing services. Address: Exact address will be provided one week prior the event. Benefactor: LEAP, a local nonprofit agency that focuses on rehabilitating women in prison using a holistic entrepreneurship model. The goal of the program is to empower women to overcome their past transgressions by providing mentorship, resources, and education. We ask our guests to bring an item to donate to this organization. Items they are requesting are: homegoods and WOMEN’s clothing and accessories for their Dragonfly Thrift Boutique. They are also collecting hygiene products for indigent WOMEN.
