The FSU College of Music is pleased to present the first Faculty
Chamber Concert of the 2019-2020 UMA concert season. On Thursday,
September 19, 2019 at 7:30 p.m., Associate Professor of Clarinet
Jonathan Holden and friends will take to the stage in Opperman Music
Hall to present works by Stravinsky, Ravel, Saint-Saëns, and more.
PROGRAM Ravel – Introduction and Allegro Stravinsky – Octet for
Wind Instruments Saint-Saëns – Caprice on Danish and Russian
Airs Arnold – Divertimento for Wind Trio Featured faculty for this
performance include Eva Amsler, flute; Karen Large, flute; Eric
Ohlsson, oboe; Jonathan Holden, clarinet; Deborah Bish, clarinet;
Geoffrey Deibel, saxophone; Jeff Keesecker, bassoon; Christopher
Moore, trumpet; John Drew, trombone; Corinne Stillwell, violin;
Benjamin Sung, violin; Evan Jones, cello; Read Gainsford, piano. The
faculty will be joined on stage by guest artists Jacqueline Pollauf,
harp and Laurel Yu, viola, as well as current FSU students Shawn
Karson, bassoon, Tyler Duncan, trumpet, and Bradley Snyder; bass
trombone. This is a ticketed performance. Tickets are $10 for adults,
$7 for seniors and non-FSU students, and free for current FSU students
