Bern’s Annual Winefest

Bern’s WINEFEST IS CENTRAL FLORIDA’s premier food and wine tasting experience. It was created to allow our guests a decadent week of events with the area’s most talented culinary teams complemented by the best wines from around the world. WINEFEST IS A PHILANTHROPIC EVENT SUPPORTED THROUGH THE LAXER FAMILY FOUNDATION AND OUR FAMILY OF BRANDS. The Laxer Family Foundation uses the proceeds raised from WINEFEST TO SEND FUNDS TO THE JAMES BEARD FOUNDATION FOR THE LAXER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND. Created in the spirit of Bern Laxer, these scholarships aim to assist students who are interested in a career in culinary, hospitality management, or viticulture. We have proudly gifted 28 scholarships since our events began; thanks to our generous sponsors, donors, and attendees of WINEFEST.SCHEDULE: 06:00 PM - 09:00 PM - Bern's Steak House Legacy Dinner at Bern's Steak House Join us at the most exclusive event of Bern’s Winefest, the Bern’s Steak House Legacy Dinner. Guests will experience an extravagant five-course dinner in Bern’s Table, the newest private dining space nestled within the restaurant’s award-winning wine cellar. This seated food and wine experience features hand-selected rare vintages from the Bern’s Steak House cellar, chosen by Bern’s Family Restaurant Group Proprietor David Laxer, Wine Director Chris Belk, and Senior Sommelier Brad Dixon. 06:00 PM - 09:00 PM - Ruinart Champagne Seminar at Epicurean Theatre, The Epicurean Hotel’s Executive Chef, Jon Atanacio, hosts an exclusive four-course champagne seminar paired with small plates in the Epicurean Theatre, celebrating the elegance of Ruinart Champagne. This immersive tasting experience features five exceptional Ruinart selections, expertly paired to highlight their unique characteristics.
