Scouting Heritage Merit Badge

We will be working on Scout BSA's SCOUTING HERITAGE BADGE. Learn the history of the SCOUTING MOVEMENT IN THE USA AND THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. The cost of the class is $5 to cover refreshments and materials during the course.  Prerequisites and/or Postrequisites: 4b or 4c 4b: Write a letter to the National Scout museum (see MERIT BADGE BOOK FOR FULL DETAILS) 4c: Visit a museum with BSA exhibit (The Astronaut Hall of Fame at Kennedy and Liberty Bell Museum are great options (see MERIT BADGE BOOK FOR FULL DETAILS) 5: Create a report on local SCOUTING 6. Create a SCOUTING COLLECTION (patches or others). Send a picture to djwhitmore@liberty.edu prior to the class 8. Interview at least three people (different from those you interviewed for requirement 5) over the age of 40 who were Scouts. Find out about their Scouting experiences.
