RCS SELECTOR V12 MUSIC SCHEDULING TRAINING PT1
If you are interested in an advanced career in radio broadcasting you
will need to know how to use a variety of software applications to get
the job done. Most companies that teach radio broadcasting only go as
far as teaching you to become a BOARD OPERATOR or an ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
(sales). Once you are on the job you will quickly realize in order to
advance to a MUSIC DIRECTOR, PROGRAM DIRECTOR, or STATION MANAGER
position you will need to know how to use other software applications
typically used in broadcasting.
RCS SELECTOR (V12) Music Scheduling software is one the the most
relied on and widely used applications in radio broadcasting. RCS
Selector is in use at FM, AM, Internet, Satelite and Cable
broadcasters worldwide.
RCS Selector (V12) is used to input the music titles, create the
playlist and analyze the data. RCS Selector V12 is also used on many
television stations as well especially music formatted stations.
This workshop is part 1 of a two part workshop. In part 1 you will
learn the basic concepts of music sheduling, data entry, music
policies, clock creation, and printing a log.
In Part 2 of the workshop you will learn more advanced features
including, reporting, analysis, and automation system integration. You
must attend Part 1 as a pre-requisite to Part 2.
