He began calling in to proclaim his devotion and loyalty as the number one fan of rap star and fellow Atlanta native Gucci Mane. He even finessed his way into getting hired to do in-studio and street work for the morning show. His claim to fame is that he actually hasn’t shown up to work for nearly 4 years, yet every single day has a plausible excuse for his absence. His hilariously and ridiculous excuses have made him a national legend. Black Tony’s love of his fans was reciprocated tenfold and has turned him into a radio and social media maverick.
