Experience the healing properties of essential oils paired with the
holistic effects of yoga on the body, mind, and emotions. Essential
oils can provide a wide variety of benefits in our daily lives.
Aromatically, they help us balance the way we feel or want to feel.
Topically, they penetrate our skin in certain points of the body to
remedy ailments we may be experiencing. Internally, they work on a
cellular level to help assist or prevent chronic conditions and
promote our overall health. Yoga brings us the balance of our energy
within. Through asana practices and awareness of the breath, yoga
allows us the space to free our minds from modern day stress. This
workshop will guide you through a slower paced Vinyasa flow in order
to experience the integration of oils along with movement and your
breath. As the body becomes warm, it will act as its own diffuser
allowing the benefits of each oil to penetrate. We will be layering
eight essential oils and blends throughout the sequence in response to
stress, toxins, inflammation and imbalances. The oils and asanas
chosen for this month are all about creating BALANCE towards an
elevated state of being. You will be required to bring your own mat,
towel, and a glass or aluminum water bottle filled with water.
