CAMP CREATIVE AT THE FFA LOG CABIN Kids can explore their creative side in this full day art camp at the charming and historic FFA Log Cabin. Cost includes optional Early Drop-Off and Extended Care Pick-Up. FEES: A $100 non-refundable supply fee is included in the total price listed above. Cost includes optional Early Drop-Off and Extended Care Pick-Up. REGISTER FOR THE FULL DAY AND YOUR CHILD WILL EXPERIENCE TWO DIFFERENT ACTIVITIES EACH DAY. CAMP DAY SCHEDULE: * 8 am–9 am: Early Drop-Off * 9 am-12 pm : NATURE’S ART CAMP WITH ASHLEY KING , Let the outdoors spark creativity! In Nature’s Art Camp, young artists will use herbs, flowers, and other garden-inspired materials to explore color, texture, pattern, and scent through hands-on art projects. Each day, campers will engage a different sense as they create beautiful and functional pieces, such as painted plant pots, handmade paper embedded with pressed herbs, aromatic sachets, and engraved clay plant markers. They’ll explore how art can be inspired by what grows all around us and celebrate the beauty of the natural world through paint, sculpture, mixed media, and more. * 12 pm-1:30 pm: Supervised Lunch Break * 1:30 pm-4:30 pm: ANCIENT LATIN AMERICAN CIVILIZATION ART WITH SHREYA SAHA, Learn about major ancient Latin American civilizations, including the Maya, Aztec, and Inca. These cultures flourished in different regions: Maya in Mesoamerica, the Aztecs in central Mexico, and the Inca in the Andes mountains of South America. * 4:30 pm–6 pm: Extended Care Pick-Up ------------------------- Thank you for registering for Art & Culture Camps full-day camps. As we get closer to camp you will be emailed the Parent Handbook. THE HANDBOOK CONTAINS PERTINENT DETAILS ABOUT THE CAMP, SO IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU READ IT. Camp will be held at the Alpharetta Arts Center or the FFA Log Cabin.Students need to bring a snack, a refillable water bottle, and lunch. They should wear clothes they don't mind getting dirty. DROP OFF FOR CAMP IS 8-9 AM/PICK UP AT 4:30 TO 6 PM. THE FIRST SESSION STARTS AT 9:00 A.M. PLEASE NOTE: AFTERCARE ENDS AT 6 PM Please let us know in advance if your child has any special needs or considerations we would need to know about in advance.Camp cancellations and transfers must be received by email or phone before Thursday by 4:30 pm the week prior to the scheduled start of camp. NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS WILL BE ISSUED FOR CANCELLATIONS AFTER THURSDAY AT 4:30 PM. ANY REFUND WILL INCUR A $5.00 PROCESSING FEE.
