_According to the Planning Department, the neighborhoods in the NE
sector of the city are some of the least "gentrified"
[https://www.atlantaga.gov/home/showdocument?id=33833]in all of
Atlanta but that is changing rapidly as evidenced by the recent
moratorium on new development. On this tour you will see, first-hand,
the projects that are transforming this sector. You will also get to
know the neighborhoods that are in the path of this development._This
is one of a series
[https://www.eventbrite.com/o/explore-atlanta-12920572299]of deep-dive
tours (12-passenger Sprinter Van) that zero in on the development
projects and trends that will transform Atlanta in 2020 and beyond.
These neighborhood-level tours focus on five different sectors of the
city, as described below. For each sector, you will get a first-hand
look at the:
* Large-scale (new) real estate projects that are under construction
and/or planned
* Large-scale redevelopment projects that are under construction
and/or planned
* Transit infrastructure that is currently in place and/or planned
(e.g., More MARTA
