Event DescriptionTurn up the volume at the High with great music,
signature drinks, and our reimagined galleries on the first Friday of
every month. Our galleries stay open late for special tours, drawing
demonstrations, live music, and featured guests. It’s happy hour
meets art party from 6 to 9 p.m.
APRIL HIGH FREQUENCY FRIDAY
Step into spring at HIGH Frequency Friday! Our after-work art party
kicks off on April 3 with music from DJ Source One, film screenings,
sound baths, drawing lessons, tours in the collection, and more.
Don’t forget to try our specialty Caipirinha cocktail before the
night ends!
What’s happening:
* Works in Our Strange New Land: Photographs by Alex Harris come to
life during screenings of short films from the Atlanta Film Festival
at 7 p.m. in the Hill Auditorium. Stick around for a brief discussion
immediately following the screenings.
* Cool off with a refreshing glass of our Caipirinha cocktail
inspired by the current exhibition _The Plot Thickens: Storytelling
in European Print Series_.
* Drop in for drawing lessons with Georgia State University
instructor Michael Tolley.
* Grab a yoga mat and join a Zen session with Ottavia Lang of Dear
Life Chat and her crystal quartz singing bowls.
* Dance in the atrium with hits spun by DJ Source One.
* Learn the art of papermaking with the Robert C. Williams Museum of
Papermaking.
* Slow down during docent-led tours of _The Plot Thickens:
Storytelling in European Print Series._
* Get a first look at _Murmuration_, our new Piazza installation by
renowned architecture and design firm SO – IL
