Mark Miller Band w/ The Justin Sams Band + Akin & Jones

On June 10th, at Red Light Cafè, Mark Miller and his stelar band will be debuting his newest material including several songs written with Multi-hit and award winning Country music songwriting legend, Phil Barnhart. As always, there will be plenty of stories mingled in with covers from the likes of Townes Van Zandt, Tom T Hall, Lyle Lovett and Blind Willie McTell.

Akin & Jones open the show at 8pm, followed by The Justin Sams Band at 8:45pm and the Mark Miller Band at 9:30pm.

Having been born to musician parents in Nashville, Tennessee and growing up in rural Georgia, it seemed that Mark Miller's destiny was to become a Country Music singer/songwriter. After a 20 year career in Contemporary Christian and Gospel Music, where he performed alongside artists the likes of Buddy Green, Lenny LeBlanc, Keith and Kristen Getty, Shane and Shane and many more, he is returning to his roots. Mark has been performing his own brand of Americana Music up and down the East Coast this past year to much popular acclaim.

The Justin Sams Band is about the music, purely and simply. Blessed with two principal songwriters, two skilled finger-picking string players and a drummer with a fine touch, The Justin Sams Band delivers original songs that speak to the hearts and souls of their listeners.

Since their inception the 4 members of the Justin Sams Band have been focused on the hard work of building the style and content of their music with care and love. Each song tells a story and hopefully will strike an emotional chord with you as you listen.
