OVERVIEWThe ICP-BVA is one of two knowledge-based certifications on the Product Ownership Track. The certification focuses on VALUE-driven software delivery, the accompanying mindset, and key agile practices designed to emphasize customer VALUE. It also looks at creating organizational and team environments conducive to frequent and transparent collaboration between the BUSINESS AND DEVELOPMENT TEAMS. The learning objectives highlight specific techniques and practices such as lightweight requirements, prioritization methods, progressive elaboration, product/project roadmapping, story mapping, effective user stories, and acceptance criteria. Participants who complete this certification will gain an excellent foundation in VALUE-based agile solutions delivery.     COURSE DETAILS The ICP's learning objectives focus on the agile mindset, values, principles and foundational concepts. They are grounded in what it means to be agile and achieve organizational agility without specific focus on any single agile methodology or framework (i.e. Scrum, XP, DSDM, SAFe, etc.) Upon earning this certification, the student will understand the history of agile, the importance of “being” as well as “doing” agile, key aspects of value-driven development, adaptive planning techniques, and how to cultivate collaboration with customers, within organizations and within teams. Students will also have gained the vocabulary to discuss the benefits of agile and how to avoid common pitfalls with fellow agile practitioners. WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING Coming into the course I have known nothing about agile whatsoever but after leaving their training, I have gained a lot of insight on what it means of "doing" agile and "being" agile. Hopefully, soon I’ll be able to take another course with Aleph Technologies. Instructors were amazing, answered every question that I had regarding agile and what to do in the work place.
