SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:10 AM – 6 PM - ARTISTS MARKET Explore the diverse work of 150 artists at the Artists Market; the juried, outdoor market showcases offerings from all over the Southeast including local creatives. MUSIC + PERFORMANCES Grab a beer and vibe at the music pop-ups or laugh along with the comedy and theatre performances. Don’t miss the stunning dance presentations, too! Live music, dance, comedy, and theatrical performances take place throughout the weekend, joyfully celebrating Decatur’s immense local talent across four main venues – the Historic DeKalb Courthouse, the LOL Tent, and two pop-up areas around the downtown Square. Sort the full schedule by date, location, or interest. All events are free. KIDS WELCOME No need for a babysitter! While there is no kids area at the 2025 festival due to construction on the Decatur Square, the festival is family-friendly event. You’ll find plenty of fun including the Children’s Book Festival happening alongside the Decatur Arts Festival. FOOD + DRINK Grab a bite from onsite food and drink vendors or dine at our local restaurants. The whole festival is inside Decatur’s open container entertainment zone so you can take your cocktail or beer to go as you stroll through the market. CHILDREN’S BOOK FESTIVAL Hear From (And Meet!) Authors and Illustrators The Little Shop of Stories Children’s Book Festival is happening alongside the Decatur Arts Festival! It will feature authors and illustrators of children’s picture books, middle-grade literature, and graphic novels — as well as a dedicated young adult stage. Kick off the inaugural event with keynote speaker on Friday night. Then browse the vendor booths and author tables on Saturday and Sunday, and don’t miss the author talks held throughout the weekend
