**Taylor Leonhardt with special guest Leslie Jordan live at Eddie's
Attic!** Native Texan and new-ish Nashvillian, Taylor Leonhardt is
first and foremost a craftsman. Whether she's penning tunes for her
solo project or for her duo Mission House with Jess Ray, it’s always
about the song. The Gospel Coalition recently called Taylor “one of
the most promising singer-songwriters in Nashville these days", naming
her latest project Hold Still one of the best albums of 2021. In
addition to touring and writing, she spends time across the US leading
music and conversations for spiritual retreats, creative workshops,
and faith communities. When she’s not on the road, you can catch
Taylor on a long run at Shelby Park or pursuing her newest hobby - fly
fishing. She is convinced God songs are everywhere. *After comprising
one-half of the Grammy-Nominated All Sons & Daughters from 2010-2018,
Nashville-based artist, Leslie Jordan has spent the last seven years
writing for and investing in other artists. She has done this
primarily through “The Fold,” a non-profit she co-founded in 2017
as a creative community for artists in all genres and walks of life to
find safety and belonging through creative writing workshops and
retreats. It was that same year when Leslie fostered the desire to
return to her Americana roots and began to conceptualize her next
album, adapting the lost writings & poetry of her mother’s estranged
father who passed away in 1995. Leslie has always been a songwriter
and a storyteller, but after combing through decades of her
grandfather’s words, she now knows why it courses through her veins.
Although Leslie is no stranger to the music, this album marks her
debut endeavor into the Folk/Americana world.* Presented by Eddie's
Attic. This is an all ages event.
