As part of our required training for members to use certain tools and equipment at the makerspace. This is a Woodshop Safety Check that will enable folks to use the: Tablesaw Miter Saw Small Benchtop Bandsaw Drill Press Benchtop Sanders During the class, members will have the chance to ask questions, demonstrate the safe hands-on use of each of these tools, and at the end be checked off to use these tools. This class is open to members 14+ years of age. Minors attending this class must be accompanied by an adult parent/guardian for the duration of the course. Due to the pandemic, we are a bit behind in training members on the safe use of tools and equipment. For the time being this course is only open to paying members of Decatur Makers, and you must be logged into your CRM account in order to register for this event. We apologize for the inconvenience and we plan on making this course available to the general public as soon as we are caught up on training members.
