Hey GNO!Let s Meet and Greet for High Tea at Dr. Bombay s Underwater
Tea Party Restaurant! And yes, they have an outdoor private area!
For us to reserve this event they require a (full) deposit with taxes
and fees. (I think this includes tip and I ll call them to double
check!)
It will be around $31.00 for each member. (It s around $435.00 total
to reserve it -- again, this is with taxes and fees!).
This is for a total of 15 members. Depending on if I get the deposits
in and how quickly will determine if we get this place reserved for
this day and time. (It s essentially *first come, first served or I
should say first *paid*, first served!).
***If not enough members pay the $31.00 and we can t reserve this
space for this day/time I ll refund everyone who has paid up until
that point --> A Plan "B" is that I ll reserve another restaurant so
we can still Meet & Greet, the only caveat is that we will *not* have
our own private area (just) for GNO.***

PARKING (Copied and Pasted from their website):
Dr. Bombay s is located at 1645 McLendon Avenue in Atlanta. Free,
on-street parking is available along McLendon Avenue, Clifton Road and
neighboring streets. Please do not park in the Fellini s Pizza or
Candler Park Market parking lots.
--> When I spoke to Nicole she said that they *do not* have a private
lot. And that most customers find parking around or in front of the
restaurant on surface streets and that they re located in a
residential area. Since it s Sunday, she said there shouldn t be a
problem to find parking or any charges. *Please look out for any signs
wherever you park at!*
COVID-19 Precautions:
**There is still a pandemic going on. Although masks are preferred
except when eating of course. If you feel sick stay home and please
take into consideration that you’re meeting at your own risk. **
Something that I noticed on the website is that since COVID they may
take our temperature before going in? Nicole didn t mention anything
to me so I m not sure if they re still doing this or not (?) I was
going to ask her but she was preparing for another High Tea at that
point! Just a heads up! ;-)
Sorry, no +1 s (non-GNO members) for this one. Although they are more
than welcome to join the group and RSVP that way! :) *Also, look out
for some bring a friend meetups in the future!
Questions? Send me a DM or make a comment below! :)
Looking forward to meeting and greeting all of the attendees!
