Gwinnett Community Outreach, in partnership with the United Ebony
Society, and Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation are teaming up to host
the 2019 Juneteenth Celebration!
Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of
slavery in the United States. Today, it is a time to celebrate African
American freedom and achievement, while encouraging continuous
self-development and respect for all cultures.
The free celebration will take place at Rhodes Jordan Park in
Lawrenceville. This is event is fun for all ages! More details coming
