Credit Score & Mortgage Requirements to Buy a House
Your credit report is separate from your credit score and both are too
important to ignore when preparing for a home mortgage.
Many changes within the credit reporting agencies, i.e. TransUnion,
Experian and Equifax last year that has affected the mortgage
application process greatly. Your credit can change daily which
affects the credit score daily.
Preparing for the mortgage application process is essential for
obtaining a letter of commitment from the lender that will convince
the seller that the buyer is ready, willing and able to complete a
home purchase transaction.
Let’s have a dialogue:
* How credit scores affect loan approval, interest rates, title and
homeowners’ insurance premiums and investor approval
* What credit score do you need to buy a home
* BCFP - The Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection regulations –
New credit reporting guidelines
* Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions
Act
* Getting preapproved for a mortgage – minimum standards
* Qualified Mortgage Rule update
* 2019 mortgage approval summary
* New document rules for self-employed
* Jumbo mortgage rates, rules and loan limits for 2019
