Description Discover how to paint alla prima , in oils, also known as
working wet in wet . Alla prima painting means to complete a work in
one sitting. When painting directly, the artist wants to find the
right hue, value, and saturation of the color before laying it down on
the canvas in order to get the color and shape down correctly the
first time. Artists who have used this method include impressionists
such as Claude Monet and Post-Impressionist Vincent Van Gogh. This
class is an excellent opportunity to release creative blockage. All
