The July meetup agenda will start off with lunch sponsored by Genuent.
Once everyone has had a chance to get settled, we will kick off the
meetup with brief individual introductions (10 secs each). We will then
have a talk on Business Agility from James Sweet via Zoom. James is
currently the Regional AGILE DELIVERY LEAD FOR THE WESTERN REGION FOR
THE ELIASSEN GROUP. James is also a Lean/AGILE TRANSFORMATION
ARCHITECT ADVISING CLIENTS IN BEST PRACTICES AND HELPING THEM SELECT
AND IMPLEMENT SUCCESSFUL TRANSFORMATION STRATEGIES.
James has 10 years of experience as an Enterprise Level AGILE COACH
AND CHANGE AGENT WORKING WITH CLIENTS OF ALL SIZES FROM SMALL STARTUPS
TO FORTUNE 10.
Prior to that James was an Agile practitioner performing in the
following roles: Chief Product Owner, Product Manager, Product Owner,
Scrum Master/Team Coach, Release/Solution Train Engineer
The second half of the event we will use the Lean Coffee
(http://leancoffee.org/ [http://leancoffee.org/]) format. Lean Coffee
is a structured, but agenda-less meeting. Participants will gather,
build an agenda (backlog of topics), and begin the discussion.
Conversations are directed and productive because the agenda for the
meeting is democratically generated.
We will close the meetup with a “Rapid Retrospective” (5 minutes)
covering what was beneficial to the group and what could be enhanced
in future ATAG meetups.
The total event time is scheduled for ~1.5 hrs.
Please arrive a few minutes early because attendees will need to sign
in at the front desk. Parking is available in front of the building
and behind the building. Please park on the M3 side since the other
side of the lot is owned by SAGE.
We look forward to seeing you there!
