Coconut Chase 8K 2019 - Honolulu, HI 2019

The 11th annual Coconut Chase 8K is fun for the whole family! Run or walk, and wear your best coconuts and hula skirt - - show your aloha spirit! The race will take place on Sunday, August 18th at 6:30am! The scenic race course is flat and fast, running around beautiful Ala Moana Beach Park. Stay after the race to enjoy the calm tropical blue waters of Ala Moana Beach! Event details and schedule Packet Pickup Info: Wednesday, August 14th - 7am to 10am Kalapawai Cafe, 750 Kailua Road, Kailua Friday, August 16th - 4pm to 7pm Runners Route, 1322 Kapiolani Blvd, Honolulu Saturday, August 17th - 9am to 12pmRunners HI, 98-390 Kamehameha Hwy, Aiea RACE DAY INFO: Race starts at 6:30am at Ala Moana Beach Park, on Magic Island. We recommend you arrive by 6:00am to get parked, use the restroom and get to the start line. There is one aid station on the course serving water, plus fruit, light snacks, and water at the finish! Awards for top males and females in 9 divisions. Chip timing by Pacific Sport Events. T-shirts guaranteed to those who register by July 15 AND PICK UP THEIR SHIRT AT PACKET PICKUP. (Participants who fail to pick up their shirt at packet pickup are NOT guaranteed a shirt on race morning - - leftover shirts that are not picked up at the expo will be offered to late registrants after they finish.) T-SHIRT NOT GUARANTEED FOR ENTRIES AFTER JULY 15! (We do order extras, but late registrants will have to wait until AFTER the race to pick up your shirt, and we can NOT guarantee you'll get a shirt OR get the correct size... so please register by July 15th so that your shirt will be guaranteed!) All finishers will receive an awesome finisher's medal! Strollers are welcome! No pets allowed at the park, so please leave your four-legged friends at home!
