Let’s show Maui’s north shore some love! Join Maui Ocean Center, The Aquarium of Hawaii and MOC Marine Institute to help pick up trash from Kanaha Beach Park.
Kanaha sits on the windward side, greeting the open ocean as well as all sorts of marine debris. Volunteers will work on land and the reef (weather permitting), and can expect buoys, ghost nets, and plenty of plastic.
After the cleanup, we’ll absorb some in-depth sea turtle education from Maui Ocean Center Marine Institute.
