The Annual Arts Crawl is back for its encore performance! Join Ballet
Idaho, Boise Contemporary Theater, the Boise Phil, and Opera Idaho
as they share behind the scenes rehearsal and performances in each of
their own spaces in the heart of Boise's Cultural District at the
Esther Simplot Performing Arts Complex. The evening will feature
performances by each organization alongside wine, beer, and hors
d'oeuvres. Doors open at 5:30pm for a social hour with wine and
beer for purchase and complimentary hors d’oeuvres.At 7:00pm the
tour begins as guests are brought to each organization’s home to
experience a short performance. After the final performance all are
welcome to return to the Boise Phil for continued drinks and
conversation. All proceeds from this event will be donated to Learning
Lab. The mission of Learning Lab is to transform the lives of
adults and families through personalized education. Professional
educators develop lessons, tailored to each student’s needs and
goals, and facilitate student and volunteer tutor interaction. Classes
are offered to adults who want to improve their reading, writing,
math, English Language, or study for the GED or U.S. Citizenship
exams. Early childhood education is also available for the young
children of parents in the Family Literacy program. Started as a
project of the Junior League of Boise, nearly 30 years ago, Learning
Lab continues to grow and adapt to meet the needs of a growing
community, offering Adult Literacy and Family Literacy classes at 7
Treasure Valley locations. Tickets are $30 each. Esther Simplot
