IN THIS MULTI-STATION PROGRAM FEATURING FOOD, DANCE, AND HISTORY. GET
TO EXPLORE THE UNIQUE SPACES OF THE JUMP BUILDING WHILE ROTATING
THROUGH THREE INTERACTIVE SESSIONS:
SHARE STUDIO:
PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ABLE TO SEE HOW TRADITIONAL BOSNIAN FOOD IS
PREPARED AND HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE FLAKY AND DELICATE
PHYLLO DOUGH FOLLOWED BY DELICIOUS SAMPLES.
MOVE STUDIO:
THE MLADI BEHAR DANCE ENSEMBLE WILL PERFORM A TRADITIONAL DANCE,
EXPLAIN THE HISTORICAL RELAVENCE, AND PROVIDE SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS FOR
THOSE PARTICIPANTS INTERESTED IN LEARNING A FEW NEW BOSNIAN FOLK DANCE
MOVES.
THE LOFT:
BOSNIAN AUTHOR EDVIN SUBAŠIĆ WILL READ FROM HIS WORK AND DISCUSS
BOSNIAN HERITAGE, HISTORY, AND THE REFUGEE EXPERIENCE. THERE WILL ALSO
BE AN INTRODUCTION BY THE AMERICAN POET AND WRITER, JR WALSH.
PARTICIPANTS WILL BE DIVIDED INTO THREE GROUPS AND ROTATE THROUGH EACH
30 MINUTE SESSION. ALL AGES WELCOME. CHILDREN 5 YEARS AND YOUNGER ARE
FREE. REGISTRATION ENDS TUESDAY, JANUARY 21ST.

rotate through each 30 minute sessions.

The Mladi Behar The Bosnian and Herzegovinian Cultural Center of Idaho
[https://www.facebook.com/BHCCID/] is a 501c3 nonprofit
organization that has been operating in Boise for the last 20
years. They work to preserve, promote, and perpetuate the Bosnian
culture and heritage in Boise and have performed at over 100 venues in
the Treasure Valley and around the US. In addition they have
organized cooking classes, educational programs, Bosnian
language training for children, and music events. Except for the
artistic directors all of the staff are volunteers who give their
time to help educate the public about this unique culture that has
made Idaho their new home.

WHAT IS JUMP?
JUMP – or Jack’s Urban Meeting Place – is a not-for-profit,
interactive creative center and community gathering place in the heart

services related to my participation may have an element of hazard or

attorney’s fees, medical and ambulance costs) that I may incur while
participating in the activities. JUMP will not tolerate any unlawful
use of copyright material. Liability for such unauthorized use shall
rest solely with the producer. The participant further agrees to hold
harmless JUMP for damages arising out of such claims. I assume the
liability of and agree to compensate JUMP for any damages other than
normal wear and tear of the facility and equipment. When entering the
JUMP premises, you are entering an area where photography, audio and
video recording will occur. By entering these premises, you consent to
all recording media and its release, publication, exhibition or
reproduction to be used for any JUMP purpose. I further waive my
rights to all claims in connection with any JUMP publication,
regardless of its purpose. JUMP is not responsible for replacing lost,
misplaced, stolen or damaged belongings and valuables; therefore, JUMP
recommends that visitors bring only essential items to the facility.
WHAT ARE MY TRANSPORT/PARKING OPTIONS GETTING TO THE EVENT?
You may bus, bike, drive, walk, skip, etc. Check Boise's bus schedule

and have bike racks to secure your ride. If you plan to drive, PAID
PARKING is available on the 3rd and 4th levels of the JUMP parking
garage or in Simplot's below ground parking garage, both accessible
from the Myrtle Street entrance located between 11th and 9th
Streets. PLEASE NOTE, THE BELOW GROUND PARKING GARAGE IS ONLY
AVAILABLE AFTER 4PM UNTIL 6AM ON WEEKDAYS AND ALL DAY ON
WEEKENDS. Credit/debit cards accepted only.

WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?
We depend on your enrollment for a successful class so please plan
your schedule carefully. Classes which do not meet minimum enrollment
are subject to cancellation. Refunds are issued in full if the class
or program is cancelled, if you cancel at least seven days before the
starting date of the class, or for documented medical reasons. Please
