The Presenter:
TEMPO (He/Him) is a traveling top who has visited different
communities and different countries to learn from the resident experts
and masters of different journeys of kink. He takes what he learns to
bring back to his present home community in BOISE, ID, where he hosts
BOISE Rope Jam. He primarily seeks out rope instructors to help guide
him on his journey for rope mastery. True to his name, much of his
play involves weaving music into his scenes.Whether it is
occupational- or kink-related, his true calling is teaching. Outside
the kink community, Tempo teaches for a regionally accredited college,
supervises and trains instructors, and manages the school s
curriculum. Inside the community, he is often found serving whatever
city he finds himself in as an instructor, a volunteer, a dungeon
monitor, medical staff, or consent incident responder.

Rope Foundations - In a house-building analogy, when you build a
house, you always start with a foundation. The wonderful thing about
foundations in rope is that you use it every time you pick up rope.
This class, ROPE 101, starts with a lecture on rope vocabulary,
materials, basic anatomy and physiology, and safety concerns. The
class then moves into a hands-on workshop.
Connection in Bondage - Continuing with the house analogy, once you
have a solid foundation, you are then able to build the framework that
CONNECTS any foundation. This workshop, ROPE 102, starts with a
discussion on “Why we tie?”, which explores the concepts of mood
and connection between ourselves and our partners. We then move into a
hands-on portion where we further explore mood and connection while
adding techniques in tension and flow to enhance and deepen the
experience.
Take Your Positions: Rope Harnessing - In the ROPE 100 series, we
developed foundations in rope bondage. This class is the first class
of ROPE 200 series, Harnessing and Groundwork, where we take what we
learned in foundations and start adding sequence and structure. This
class will cover the common positions that many of the exotic
harnesses are named after and the risks involved in tying these
positions.
No spots will be held w/o payment or scholarship arrangements.
