January 28th Join us to learn about the winemaking process from when
the wine is put into barrels, then blended, and bottled. There will be
a large focus in this class on blending wines, and we will have wine
for you to make your own blend and experience the excitement (and
sometimes frustration) of trying to make a wine more than the sum of
its parts. Some themes we will cover are, what kind of barrels we use,
how we keep the wine 'healthy' during the aging process, the battle of
blending, and what makes a wine a good candidate for laying down in
your cellar for years to come. This class includes a boxed dinner and
a flight of wine.
