Qigong to guide you to connect with your inner-self helping you to
feel more grounded and self-empowered.
The path of T ai Chi can be used as a program of preventative
healthcare and to support spiritual growth. Important components of T
ai Chi include Chan Szu Chin and Qiqong exercies, which serve as the
foundation to T ai Chi. Chan Szu Chin exercises, also known as Silk
Reeling, are exclusive to Chen Style T ai Chi and are excellent for
practicing T ai Chi principles of whole body involvement.
Additionally, these strengthening exercises loosen the muscles prior
to Qigong so that Qigong is more effective. Qi means vital breath or
life energy and Gong means work or cultivation. Qigong has been found
effective for the same range of illnesses treated by acupuncture.
Qigong can be combined with yoga, martial arts, other exercise
systems, or sports.
The practice of T ai Chi & Qigong follows ancient principles of
breath, posture, and movement that relax the body s joints and sinews
to optimize whole body circulation and to promote overall well-being.
