THROUGH DRAMATIC MONOLOGUE, poetry and song, audiences will gain a powerful glimpse, of the charismatic life of HARRIET TUBMAN. HARRIET TUBMAN Particularly, nearly every aspect of the African American woman’s journey through life have endured far-reaching negative influences from the ordeal of slavery to the traces of inequalities which linger through current times. In this compelling performance, actress Cynthia Maddox offers a Dynamic look at the triumphant life of Harriet Tubman. Through dramatic monologue, poetry and song, audiences will gain a powerful glimpse, of the charismatic life of “Lady Moses” and how her darning dedication to a better society, has impacted the course of history for all women. This showcase has debuted over 100 times and will be held in the historic Bronzeville community, just south of Chicago's McCormick Place and near three major expressways. Tickets include appetizers and beverages. Tickets must be purchased in advance. A % of proceeds will benefit FAM Entertainment Theater Company, NFP. Whose focus is achievement & motivation through entertainment on the south side of Chicago.
