Alpha Phi Omega Anniversary Dinner

Join your brothers on December 16 at Frank Reed Horton Way to recognize the ANNIVERSARY OF OUR BELOVED FRATERNITY! We will meet at the southwest corner of Harrison and Halsted for our annual group photo, then adjourn Giordano's (815 W Van Buren) for food and fellowship. Dress warmly for the wait while everyone assembles for the photo, and please bring cash to help make splitting our check easier at Giordano's afterward.If you are interested in becoming an official member of the Chicagoland Area Alumni Association, you may pay your dues at this time! Membership is only $5, and we only ask that you attend at least one event per year. Easy peasy! And good times, too. Totally worth it.   FAQS   HOW DO I GET THERE VIA PUBLIC TRANSIT? The UIC-Halsted stop on the Blue Line is right between Frank Reed Horton Way and Giordano's. Very convenient! By bus, the 8 stops right by that same Blue line stop, and both the 7 and the 60 stop right at Harrison/Halsted.   I'M DRIVING IN, WHERE CAN I PARK? Parking can be tricky near any university, and naturally that goes double for a university in the city. Street parking in Greektown exists, but you'll have to search for it! There is a paid parking lot at the Rice Building (which houses Giordano's), a UIC lot at Halsted and Polk, and a UIC parking garage at Halsted and Taylor. Fees start at $5. If you need a specific address to put into your GPS or map app, 847 W. Harrison will get you to Frank Reed Horton Way. From there, Giordano's is to the north up Halsted (on the west side of the street), and UIC parking is to the south (on the east side of the street).   WHAT'S ON THE MENU? ARE THERE VEGAN OR GLUTEN-FREE OPTIONS? If you've just moved to CHICAGO, Giordano's is famous for its deep-dish stuffed pizza! Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options are advertised. We'll order a number of pizzas and pitchers of soda for the group and divide the check between everyone; we're pretty flexible if you'd like to order something else. And do remember to tip our server(s), we'll be a large group and we want them to welcome us back!   DO I HAVE TO BRING MY PRINTED TICKET TO THE EVENT? No need to print a ticket, come as you are!
