Laser Cutter Authorization Workshop
Curious as to how a laser cutter works? Have any ideas that you would
want to bring to life using a laser cutter? Come and learn how to use
the laser cutter we have here at the IRL.
Participants will learn everything from general safety to basic
functions of the laser cutter. This workshop provides all materials
and a sample project. Instructions can be found on our website at
irl.depaul.edu and are available in the space.
Arrive on time and do not leave early. Late arrivals will be turned
away, and leaving early means you are not allowed to use this machine!
Walk-in's will be accepted for no-show spots.
This workshop is free and open to all currently enrolled DePaul
University students/staff/faculty. We do not accept those who are not
DePaul affiliated. Alumni must provide an alumni ID card. Participants
will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to machine use.
Participants seeking disability-related accommodations are invited to
contact idearealizationlabdpu@gmail.com before the workshop so we may
have the proper assistance and accommodations prepared.
