This is a beginner's online class that teaches the basics of Search
Engine Optimization. We will be discussing how to ensure that a
website is search engine friendly, a brand has a strong digital
footprint and consistency across the web, how important it is to have
healthy online relationships, and how to track and analyze performance
over time. Tina Serio Founder & Digital Marketing Consultant, Modern
Digital LLC Tina is a modern marketer with 12+ years of strategy and
execution experience across digital marketing, online advertising,
demand generation, and growth marketing. In early 2018, she founded
Modern Digital (moderndigital.co), a digital marketing consulting
company with a mission to help brands connect with customers using
their website and digital channels. Tina has worked across B2B and B2C
markets, with firms ranging from SMBs to global enterprises, in tech,
financial services, travel, luxury brands and other industries. She
has developed and implemented multi-channel digital marketing
strategies for brands such as Salesforce, Autodesk, Xerox, RE/MAX,
Pokemon, and Kaiser Permanente. Tina has run holistic web marketing
and digital campaigns end-to-end, and she has had great success in
areas like paid search, SEO, display advertising, and social media.
She enjoyed – and relished the challenge of – marketing to
marketers for both Pardot and Quantcast. Tina has spoken on digital
marketing at a number of events, including three Dreamforce
conferences, and she has authored articles and blog posts on this
topic. Tina loves to travel, and her favorite city is Sydney, where
she has visited for two digital marketing assignments. What truly
excites her professionally is teaching marketers how to leverage
digital channels and watch their ideas come to life! Tina lives in
