Level 1's are beginners who can't yet ride a two wheel bike. To
participate they should come on a two wheel bike with training wheels.
Newbees will learn how to pedal, steer, stop and, if they are ready,
balance on two wheels!
Level 2 riders are those who can balance and pedal a two-wheeler
without assistance for at least 5m; but still need a light push to
start and/or assistance to stop. In this level, riders will work on
becoming more independent by learning to start, stop, steer, and
control their bikes. Kids will also be introduced to more complex
skills such as shoulder checking.
To be in Level 3, riders must be competent riders with the fundamental
skills to start, stop, and steer independently. Kids will continue
to practice and improve their steering skills and bike control. The
primary focus for this level will be to prepare kids for riding on the
road; they will master riding in single file, shoulder checking, hand
signals, and navigating intersections. Please note that these classes
do not go on the road. *Extended care available for purchase
directly through Pedalheads for 8:00am-9:00am and/or 4:00pm-5:00pm.
Reach out for pricing once camp is booked.
