MAKING DEVELOPMENT POLICY RELATABLE: A DIALOGUE WITH OXFAM'S JACKIE NELSON Join IDPA for a conversation with OXFAM'S JACKIE NELSON on the importance of communication – GETTING YOUR MESSAGE ACROSS in International Development. JACKIE NELSON is a SENIOR ENTERTAINMENT RELATIONS OFFICER for OXFAM AMERICA, an organization fighting poverty by providing clean water, human rights protections and sanitation services in more than 90 countries. She regularly engages with entretainers and organizations to discuss ways in which they can contribute to Oxfam cause–whether that's through a quiet donation or using their fame to influence people through their social media, concerts or one of Oxfam's campaigns. Jackie has recently engaged in impactful trips to the refugee camps/US Southern Boarder, and has tirelessly worked to engage celebrities and amply the importance of these humanitarian crisis, Oxfam’s efforts and the mission of Oxfam.
