Learn the ESSENTIALS OF HOW TO MANAGE A TEAM OF MILLENNIAL HAIR
ARTISTS USING BOTH COMPASSION AND DATA DRIVEN GOALS. In the hair
industry, a lot of people are working extremely hard but never feel as
though they’re worth what they’re being paid. We all know the
basics of how to build our business, but that’s only the beginning.
In these 2 three hour courses, Art + Science General Manager Andrew
Mooney will talk through the numbers and the principals that
completely changed Art + Science Salons' management. Learn how to work
smarter not harder, where to save money, where to spend it and how to
build the career you deserve.
UNDERSTANDING MILLENNIALS - 10AM - 1PM (3 CE Hours) - Millennials are
here and they’re here to stay. We’ve been called lazy, entitled
and sensitive, but say what you will, Millennials are changing the way
we think about business, both as clients and as employees. Are you
going to simply deal with these young people using the business
practices of yesteryear, or are you ready to innovate and become a
salon of the future?
SALON MANAGEMENT ESSENTIALS - 2PM - 5PM - (3 CE Hours) - The industry
is changing and so is our understanding of how to run a successful
salon. This course will dive into Art + Science’s 30 year history,
exploring the best choices we have made...and the worst. This course
is perfect for young managers who don’t know how to best motivate
their staff and make sure your company stays out of the red. It will
explore both the big picture and the nitty gritty so you know that you
are making the best choices for your business and your team.
Each course is $60 or you can take both for $110. Both classes are
part of the Art + Science Business School and will be offered again at
later dates.
