JANE ADDAMS HULL-HOUSE MUSEUM ARCHITECTURE PUBLIC TOUR
Tuesday & Thursday 3:00pLearn about the historic preservation of the
1850s Hull Mansion, neighborhood conditions in the Near West Side at
the turn of the twentieth century in Chicago, including life in
tenements and sweatshops, and the unique work of the Hull-House
settlement which responded to the social needs of the neighborhood.
Learn about the Model Tenement Movement, the foundational moments of
public housing, and how the buildings of the Hull-House settlement
embodied the ideals of the Progressive Era.
FREE PUBLIC TOURS ARE OFFERED Tuesday - Friday & Sunday at 10:00am
and 3:00pm. Please note that PUBLIC TOURS CAN ONLY ACCOMMODATE A
MAXIMUM OF 25 VISITORS AND THE LATEST ADMITTANCE TIME IS 15-minutes
after each tour beings. Visitors are encouraged to pre-register below
to ensure a spot. We ask groups of 10 or more to schedule a separate
