RAISED, An URBAN ROOFTOP BAR, 1 W. Wacker Drive, is inviting
Chicagoans to “Raise the Dead” at THEIR HALLOWEEN EVENT ON
SATURDAY, October 28th. Doors will open at 2pm, with live
entertainment beginning at 9pm and lasting until midnight. The party,
which is open to the public, will feature a special menu with
delicious cocktails and tasty bites. For those who really get into the
spirit, there will also be a costume contest from 10pm to 10:30pm in
which the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive prizes.The
“Raise the Dead” special menu, courtesy of Specialty Restaurant
Chef, Timothy Powles, will feature Pumpkin Ale Pepitas, topped with
chili and lime, for $8, Smoked Duck and Apple Flauta, made with beets,
cracked fennel, and Oaxacan Mole, for $15, Chipotle Crab Fundido,
served with crisp tortilla, for $17, and Cajun Pulled Pork Tortas,
made with onions, cilantro and chili arbol, for $16. The regular
Raised menu will also be available during this event.
The signature cocktails for the evening, which are each $15, include
options like the Stigmata, a blood-red cocktail special for the event,
made with Barro Ensamble, Mezcal Elotes, Ramazzotti Amarro, a secret
blood red juice mix and vanilla bitters, the Corpse Reviver #1, made
with Pierre Ferrand Cognac Ambre, Liard’s Apple Jack and Carpano
Antica, and the Resurrection Mary, with Baderbrau Chicago Pilsner and
Raised Signature Bloody Mary Mix.
The costume contest will be held from 10pm to 10:30pm and prizes will
be awarded to the top three costumes. First place will receive an
overnight stay at Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel, complete with
breakfast for two. The second place winner will win Monster
Headphones, and third place will receive a $50 gift card to Raised.
