An art/rock/show inspired by the sound and vision of David Bowie _Who
inspires us? How do we take that inspiration and create something we
can call our own? David Bowie continues to be a source of inspiration
for many of us. His music, his stage shows, his fa fa fa fa fashion
are relevant and enduring._
_Alex Grelle (Grelley Duvall / Ordinary Peepholes) and Jesse Morgan
Young (BAATHHAUS / REVIVAL) have created a show inspired by Bowie's
drive to reinvent himself over and over again and bring the house down
while doing it. Part rock show, part homage and part performance
spectacle, Bowie's music, along with the music of his contemporaries,
is brought to life in a way that we're hoping he'd be proud of._
_Featuring some of Chicago's favorite performers and musicians with a
band led by Chicago darling Liam Kazar (Marrow / Kids These Days),
this is a show created by Bowie fans for Bowie fans, newcomers and
everyone in between._
_Starring Alex Grelle with Teressa LaGamba and Bran Moorhead as the
Cherrys; dancers Jillian Endebrock and Robin Lee as the Diamond Dogs.
Joining Grelle, Endebrock, and Lee onstage for Floor Show are Adrian
Hadlock, Maggie Kubley, Aileen May, and Andrew Sa. Joining Kazar,
LaGamba, and Moorhead in the Floor Show band are Nolan Chin, David
Curtin, David E. Smith, Julian Stacey, and Justin Vittori.
Choreography is by Zachary Whittenburg and Erin Kilmurray. Floor Show
is produced by Paul Scudder and stage managed by Ellen Willett
assisted by Mandyn Mueller, with lighting by Benjamin Carne, set
design by John Holt, props design by Adrian Hadlock, video and
projection design by Sid Branca, and costumes, wigs, and styling by
Kate Setzer Kamphausen, Keith Ryan, and Chris Tuttle._
