Come learn how to use our Dremel 3D45 3D printers! We will teach you how to upload designs, check specs, prepare the printer, and print!
This workshop will teach you: proper safety operations, how to load and slice 3D models, how to load prints onto the Dremel 3D45, and how to successfully print that object. The workshop provides all materials and a sample project. Instructions can be found on our website at irl.depaul.edu and are available in the space.
Arrive on time and do not leave early. Completion of this workshop will result in your authorized use of ONLY THE DREMEL PRINTERS in the IRL2, you must take our other 3D Printer authorizations to use the Prusa, Raise3D, and Resin printers. Late arrivals will be turned away, and leaving early means you are not allowed to use this machine! Walk-in's will be accepted for no-show spots.
This workshop is free and open to all currently enrolled DePaul University students/staff/faculty. We do not accept those who are not DePaul affiliated. Alumni must provide an alumni ID card. Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to machine use.
Participants seeking disability-related accommodations are invited to contact irl2dpu@gmail.com before the workshop so we may have the proper assistance and accommodations prepared.
