with marketplace coaches and trainers--experts in their
fields--matching them with local entrepreneurs to develop sustainable

What Our Alumni Say:
"My books are more balanced and I believe that it's given me more
confidence to go out and talk to people more because I have a better
focus of what I'm doing. I'm not all over the place like I was. The
focus is helping me realize what my niche is, and go out there and
make that step."

"Success isn't owned, it's leased and rent is due everyday."
Sunshine's collaborative environment has been empowering for Neticia
as she connects with other entrepreneurs such as Hecky Powell, owner
of Hecky's BBQ in Evanston.

"I have a lot of experience with publishing, but I don't really have
experience as a businessperson. The CBA really took you back to the
basics of every aspect of running a business, and I did have a couple
of 'aha' moments."

"I know education, but the business side was totally foreign to me.
This class has helped me to put my business priorities in order and to
really think of the larger impact of every decision I make. It forces
me to really do my research before I make a move."
