Lightroom is a very powerful program for image management, image
processes, and sharing of images. In this talk Rich will focus on the
desktop or classical version of Lightroom. He will guide us through
many of the features to help you process your images faster, create
more dynamic changes to them, and share compelling stories with your
friends and family. A basic understand of Lightroom is suggested;
while the seminar will touch on some of the basic functionality of
Lightroom, this will not be focus of the talk.
Rich has been photographing since graduate school. He started out
using a manual Nikon FM camera and he since migrated to digital and
mirrorless. He is an active member of Garden Photographic Society and
Riverwoods Nature Photographic Society. A former President of CACCA,
he is currently the Treasurer. Across these organizations he was won
numerous awards including the Wanda Christl Award for artistic
achievement and photographic excellence.
Rich teaches Photography at Northwestern’s Osher Life Long Learning
Institute, presented seminars at numerous Camera clubs and CACCA, and
has presented previously at the 3 CAPS schools.
