Take your swim goals to the next level with our session-based private swim lesson packages. Enjoy individual attention in a 1-on-1 setting with a certified YMCA swim instructor or swim with a friend or family to benefit from additional savings. Our POWER Packages provide savings and convenience with pre-scheduled lesson dates in easy 3-to-6 session commitments. All lessons are 30 minutes in duration. ELIGIBILITY: To ensure the most successful experience with pool logistics and instructor age guidelines, POWER PACKAGES MAY HAVE PARTICIPANT AGE OR SWIM SKILL RESTRICTIONS FOR SWIMMERS WHO CAN BE SERVED FOR A GIVEN DAY/time. Unless otherwise noted, POWER PACKAGES SERVE AGES 3-adult. GETTING STARTED: * Before registering, ensure all participants are a member or join online here [https://www.mcgawymca.org/join/] . * Register for a program session at a fixed day and time shown in the "Activity Meeting Dates" section below. * You will meet with your instructor for the given session dates. KEEP IN MIND: * Available for YMCA members and youth program perks pass participants only. All participants, in the case of 2:1 semi-private lesson instruction, must be members/youth pass participants. * For semi-private lessons, you must pair with another swimmer of similar age and ability. We do not partner match. One registration will be completed, and you will be prompted to add the second swimmer and add-on fee during registration. Memberships will be verified. * Prorated registration is available as space permits. If you are registering for a class that will meet within 72 hours, please contact us first at aquatics@mcgawymca.org or 847-475-7400 ext. 272 to confirm availability. * Lessons are non-refundable and non-transferable and may not be rescheduled or credited for any reason, including illness, etc. Lessons serve the original participant(s) registered only. * Instructor requests are not available. It is our goal to provide a consistent instructor for the duration of the session. If your instructor is not available, we will seek to find a sub first. If no sub can be secured, you will have 21 days to find a mutual time to reschedule with your instructor. SEEKING A MORE FLEXIBLE OPTION?
