Comfort Zone to Power Zone * Power Snacks to Energize & Invigorate •4-4:30___Spreading JOY: Writing love letters to the universe •4:30-5___Closing our Day: Questions, Quotes, Songs, Final Words of Wisdom Whether you join me for the shorter day, or the whole enchilada, you are guaranteed a fabulous lunch, compassionate connections and access to tools you can use to practice more self-compassion each day of your life! ___________________________________________________________________________________________ ORIGINAL EVENT LISTING I will guide you in the art & science of self-compassion through intimate discussion, talking circles, experiential activities and quiet time. You’ll learn how self-compassion eases the suffering so common in today’s chaotic, too-fast world, practice self-kindness, open to mindfulness, and engage in the common humanity that presents when like-minded women gather together. JOIN ME FOR A DAY OF: * Celebrating ourselves & each other! * Cultivating Joy * BEING, just being who we are * Creating soul space * Breathing in & breathing out THE $99 EVENT FEE COVERS THE FOLLOWING: We will gather at 10 am in a comfortable, quiet, nurturing space in Rogers Park, close to the Loyola El Stop, and spend the day together. At midday, a homemade healthy lunch will be served by Urban Tables catering, and during our afternoon break, we’ll step outside for a breath of fresh air (weather permitting!) or stay in and move our bodies through a series of gentle stretches. We’ll end promptly at 5 pm, and spend our last hour considering ways to extend self-compassion into our everyday lives, and addressing questions that have come up throughout the day,. _LEAP DAY COMES ONLY ONCE IN FOUR YEARS, HOW ABOUT INDULGING IN SOME "ME TIME" TO HONOR IT!_
