How can we be free?These are all important questions but we don't
learn them at school...
This course is a journey of discovery of the wisdom traditions of
humanity, from Buddhism to Stoicism, from Plato to Egypt, with the aim
of finding, and above all, applying the answers to these universal and
practical questions and others.
The course revolves around three core topics: Developing ourselves
(ethics), learning to live together (sociopolitics), and building the
future (philosophy of history).
Topics include: Hinduism and the inner battle; Dharma, Karma and
Reincarnation; What the Buddha taught; Tibetan Buddhism; Confucius and
the Harmonious Society; How to Live Together; Plato's Cave; The
Practical Wisdom of the Stoics; Justice in Ancient Egypt; The Hero's
Journey; Mythology and Symbolism; The Cycles of Time in Ancient
Cultures; And more.
Classes include the practice of concentration, attention, memory,
habits, intelligence, willpower, and more.
Course classes will take place weekly on Thursdays from 7 pm - 9 pm
(with break), starting June 18th.

There are 12 classes in the course (not including the first open
class).
The course costs $150. Payments can be made in monthly fees of $50.
The course is a foundation for the study program of New Acropolis,
which includes advanced courses such as practical psychology, the
wisdom of the East and West, symbolism of ancient cultures, oratory
(public speaking) and more.
