Business BOOTCAMP FOR ILLINOIS CANNABIS APPLICANTS Learn the steps you need to take to enter the lucrative cannabis industry.Take part in this cannabis business bootcamp that will get you on the right path to open the business of your dreams. This intensive 3 hour session will give you much of the insight you need to organize and operate your business legally and efficiently. At the end of the session, you will have a plan for your application and business that you can begin to implement the same day. The day is split into 3 sections to ensure only relevant information is covered based on the application you are looking to submit. Craft Growers BOOTCAMP - 10 AM - 1 PM Infusers BOOTCAMP - 1 PM - 4 PM Transporters BOOTCAMP - 4 PM - 7 PM *** Save $100 with early bird registration*** Make sure to purchase the right ticket for the application you wish to submit. You must have your own laptop computer and bring it with you to the bootcamp. The bootcamp will include the following activities: * Application Review * Application Checklist * Resource Identification You will leave the session with a large portion of your application outlined, but you will still need to spend time to complete it. To ensure you do this, all participants will get weekly status calls and updates to address any concerns prior to the application submission date. About the Instructor: Florence Hardy A lifelong resident of Chicago, Florence Hardy is a graduate of the John Marshall Law School. She has been a successful business consultant for over 10 years. Past positions held by Florence Hardy include the Director of the Small Business Development Center at the Far South Community Development Corporation, as well as the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce. Florence has worked with community and educational leaders to bring entrepreneurship education and consulting services to 4 institutes of higher learning, 5 neighborhood based chambers of commerce and 5 accelerators. During her time as a business consultant and attorney, Florence has assisted more than 1,500 individuals through the business start up and launch process.
