SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:8:00 am: 20th Annual Lilac Mutt Strut 5K & 1 Mile
The Lombard Park District presents its 20th Annual 5K and 1 Mile race
in conjunction with Lilac Time on Saturday, May 17 at 8:00 am.
Participate with or without your dog in either of these exciting
events! Registration includes a dry fit race t-shirt, bib number, and
pancake breakfast ticket.
The race starts on Parkside Ave. in front of the Park District
Administration Building located at 227 W. Parkside Ave.
Packet pick-up will be held at Madison Meadow Athletic Center located
at 500 E. Wilson Ave. Race day registration will be available
in-person at an additional fee.

11:00 am & 1:00 pm: Lilac Heritage Tour
Explore the rich history and horticultural wonders of Lilacia Park.
Discover the unique features that make this park truly exceptional.
Immerse yourself in a guided tour of Lilacia Park, led by an expert
from the Lombard Historical Society. Whether you have a passion for
history or a deep appreciation for lilacs, this journey promises to be
a delightful experience for all.
Registration is strongly recommended before arriving. Tickets can be
purchased at lombardhistory.org. Tours are $9 per person, with group
sizes limited to 16 individuals. The public tour commences at 11:00 am
from the Carriage House at 23 W. Maple Street, it is advised to arrive
15 minutes before the tour.
Please note: that if you have a group of eight or more interested in
touring Lilacia Park, arrangements can be made through the Lombard
Historical Society website or please call 630.629.1885.
7:00 - 9:00 pm: Wine Tasting in Lilacia Park
Come join the Lombard Park District and Lynfred Winery for a
educational sampling of wine in Lilacia Park. Tasters will have the
chance to sample wines chosen by our host and hear from the experts on
what makes each wine delicious and unique. Participants will receive a
tasting glass, raffle ticket for fun prizes, and a free glass of wine
of their choice. Pre-registration is required for this event. Check-in
begins at 6:30 pm and the event begins promptly at 7:00 pm. Please be
sure to list anyone you will be attending with during registration.
Staff will do their best to accommodate groups and reserve spots
together under the tent.
