Winter Solstice Night Hike - MOKENA, IL 2025

Description Cold weather is no reason to stay indoors! So spend some time in the woods to celebrate the longest night of the year. As we enjoy our journey through the woods, we will look and listen for animals who are braving the cold winter night alongside us. After the hike, warm up fireside with some roasted marshmallows while we reflect on the year. Please register all people in your group. Meet at Shagbark Grove Shelter. This program will be held entirely outside after sunset; please dress for the weather. The hike may be up to 2 miles on uneven trail surfaces.
