Coding Camp: Video Game Development - Niles, IL 2026

Overview Don’t just play games. Create them. Learn computer science fundamentals and build problem-solving muscles as you design and code your own game. Why Coding Camp? In Game Dev camp we will learn the elements of computer programming – variables, conditionals, loops, and functions – in Scratch (a block programming language) and JavaScript (the programming language that powers your web browser). Along the way, we’ll become better problem solvers, using decomposition and abstraction to break down complex, impossible-to-tackle puzzles into small, solvable parts. Campers will end the week by showing off what they’ve built.
