Teen Self Defense Workshop (ages 12+) Drop off program for teens to
attend (parents are welcome to stay if they prefer to) Attendees will
participate in a series of discussions and be introduced to basic
physical self-defense skills and techniques. Training will focus on
three key areas: Mindset, Skill Set and Planning. Specific topics may
include Situational Awareness, Bystander Intervention, Consent,
Healthy Relationships, Simple Effective Strikes, How to Escape Common
Grabs, and much more. All topics will be presented at an age
appropriate level for those in attendance. The purpose of the training
is to educate and empower the attendees in a safe and fun environment.
