The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program is a dynamic, hands-on
leadership experience designed for 8th and 9th grade girls who are
ready to take the next step in confidence, responsibility, and
teamwork. Throughout the week, CITs will actively participate in camp
while gaining real-world experience by supporting younger campers,
assisting counselors, and helping lead activities. Under the guidance
of experienced staff, girls will develop essential leadership skills
such as communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and positive
role modeling. CITs will learn what it means to be a leader-balancing
fun with responsibility, stepping up when needed, and learning how to
guide and support others. The program encourages self-reflection,
initiative, and growth in a supportive, encouraging environment. More
than just helping out, the CIT program empowers girls to build
confidence, explore leadership, and gain valuable experience they can
carry into school, future jobs, and beyond. Join us for a week of
growth, mentorship, and meaningful responsibility-where girls become
leaders, role models, and confident contributors to the camp
community.
